"I began working with Ashvini at a time when my work schedule was incredibly hectic. I was traveling on a regular basis, and found myself eating a lot of processed foods that had little nutritional value. Many days I felt sluggish and run down. "Before I started working with Ashvini of Wellness Nutrition Concepts, I had been advised by my physician at my annual medical check-up that my cholesterol and my sugar numbers were rising but not a great deal. My physician suggested that I could regulate both the cholesterol and sugar through diet. I had no idea of how to regulate my diet nor did I have any idea of what kinds of foods would help control cholesterol and sugar.

"Before I started working with Ashvini of Wellness Nutrition Concepts, I was struggling with losing the rest of the weight I knew I needed to lose. I had lost a significant amount of weight 12 years ago, but never reached my goal.
Not finishing what I started was causing me to be pretty down on myself. On top of that, I recently had developed a knee problem and decided it was time that I complete the weight loss journey for my knee’s sake. One weekend I saw Ashvini being interviewed on a local news show and decided that day to call her.
Ashvini helped me understand what eating right looked like. My knowledge of the right mix of proteins, fats, and carbs had been limited all my life. Although I have always considered myself fairly active, she helped me understand where my calorie intake needed to be in light of my activity level and also reintroduced me to the importance of strength exercise in that mix. I travel some for my work, so she helped me learn to navigate around some of the eating hazards inherent in travel – at times talking through a “mistake” in choices I made on the road so I knew how I could handle that situation differently next time.
Since Ashvini started working with me I have found that she is literally in my head at times – often times!
